Perancis haram purdah

- AFP

My opinion:

Beginning of IMS's Sport Day......

Salam to all. Yes, this year, with the new IMSA committee, IMS will finally have its first official Sport's Day! It will be held at 26-28/6/2009 (if I wasn't mistaken). As a starter, the tradisional games has already taken its place at 19-30/6/2009! Some old tradisional games like 'selipar tiga', 'batu serembat', 'dam aji', 'tutup botol', 'teng teng', 'congkak' etc were included in it. It was fun playing these games. I was involved in 'selipar tiga'. Although it just for a while, it sure brings back the old memory, huhuhuhuhu. These games sure do release us from all the stress that we all have as medical students, and I like seeing my friends having fun, hahahaha. Well, that's all I can say right now. In my next post, I will surely put some pictures from the coming Sport's Day! Until then.....

English........Must or musn't??

Salam to all. Long I have been observed regarding to the issue regarding whether or not English should be an obligatory subject in SPM. Here, I would like to state my opinion regarding to this issue. My opinion, YES! It's about time our people, mainly the Malays to start realize the importance of English. It is not just a subject to be passed in SPM, or any other exams available in Malaysia. It is a very important subject, that on my opinion should be taught as early as possible, eg: during kindergarten. Why? Well, first of all, English is an universal language and for those who are trying to get their ass to further their study overseas, they MUST know English. Second, not all books, mainly the international edition books are write in Malays. They are all written in English! So, to gain the knowledge, we must first the language first, and to ensure that, English MUST become an obligatory subject! Take for an example during the golden age of Islam. Before the West become the high power, Islam, mainly dominate by the arabian, spread their language around the world and at that time, almost all researched book etc, were written in arabic! The West have no choice but to master the language so that they can gain the knowledge. Same as now, the West dominate, and English is the language universally used know, and it is an important reason why English MUST become an obligatory subject.

I also understand the importance of our national language. But, Malay language, which once become lingua franca, can't give us full satisfaction for the following reason above. To ensure that our people can become first class citizen, they must know English. All students, both urban and rural, MUST master this language, and the only way to ensure that our youngsters master English is by making English as an obligatory subject in not just SPM, buat also PMR, UPSR and others. So, in a nut shell, I want to say this again. ENGLISH MUST BECOME AN OBLIGATORY SUBJECT IN SPM!

~Wassalam~

Belia Felda sokong wajib lulus BI

Salam to all. Want to talk today about my activity. First thing, I was been asked by mimi asaad to recapture my glory time as a videocam man, hahahaha. I accomplished my duty for about 2-3 hours. Then, immediately I went out to Garuda Mall with Shazwan. Today, I treat myself and shazwan at Kobe restaurant, located at the top most floor in Garuda Mall. As Imran said, the food and drink was totally superb, compare to 20ft restaurant. I ate tenderloin nasi goreng while for shazwan, a pepper steak. I pampered myself with a dash of sizzling apple pie, hehehehehe. It was great. Then, we went to Staples to buy diary for shazwan and surprisingly, I bought for myself a Logitech speaker, yaahoooooo!!! O yeah, not to forget, before we went to Kobe, we drop by at Nike and shazwan bought a shirt as roy's bithday present (HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROHAIZAT -1/6/1988), while me bought a new bag!! I know, I know, bad Faiz, very2 bad Faiz, but I can't resist it. The design was sooo beautiful. After Staples, went by to Health & Glow (Guardians) to buy Fareed's stuff. Then, we went back happily and enjoying ouself with our stuff :-) Well, that's all I want to say, until then!
